    Description

    The Department of Medicine at Los Angeles General Medical Center is seeking clinical faculty to join the Division of Cardiology.

    Opportunities exist in interventional/structural, heart failure, multimodality imaging (CT / MRI / echocardiography) and general cardiology.

    In addition to clinical services, these physicians will be involved in trainee education, clinical research, and improving the delivery of care.

    There are excellent opportunities to make an impact by serving the LA population and develop a robust academic career.


    Position Requirements

    • Candidates must have an MD, DO or equivalent degree.
    • Candidates must be boardcertified or board eligible in Cardiology/Interventional Cardiology.
    • Candidates must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
    • Candidates must have completed a fellowship.

    Position Benefits

    • Busy cardiac catheterization lab with coronary and structural interventions
    • STEMI center with ECMO program for cardiogenic shock patients
    • 3 remodeled Cath labs with ability to do all structural procedures

    • Physicians who have certification by appropriate AMSB in the specialty to which he/she is assigned is entitled to a 5.5% monthly bonus.

    • Nonclinical time or compensation proportional to additional responsibilities

    Salary Range: Noninvasive $243,700 – 326,732 Interventional $311,341 – 417,392
