    Job Description **Position Summary:**

    Under the direction of manager, prepares foods needed for nutritional needs. Follows all established sanitation procedures. Performs area specific assigned duties to ensure food service to patients, employees, and visitors. Maintain area and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Know and observe all safety and sanitation policies and procedures as they relate to your area. Provide quality customer service.

    Job Requirements **Skills:**

    Must have knowledge of weights and measurements.

    Requires the ability to make change and keep records accurately.

    Must be able to follow directions, communicate and respond to inquiries/requires effective interpersonal skills.

    Able to verbalize information to customers about product and/or recipe contents.

    **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

    **Education:** HS diploma/GED preferred

    **WORKING CONDITIONS**

    **Physical Demands:** Must to able to move about the hospital and between workstations. Must be able tolerate exposure to temperature changes, humid/hot conditions and unpleasant orders. Must be able to work mops, brooms and trash mobiles. Must be able to occasionally move heavy carts and frequently lift light to medium weight equipment and supplies.
