    Job DescriptionREQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
    • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
    • 1 - 3 Years of clinical experience
    • 1 - 3 Years of supervisory experience with inpatient programs
    PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
    • Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
    • Licensed in the State of Florida (i.e. RN, LMHC, LCSW, Clinical Psychologist)
    • 1 - 3 Years of mental health experience
    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
    • Advanced knowledge of Acute Care System
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Coordinate clinical activities of all Adult Acute Care Programs

    Coordinate weekly supervisory meetings
    Monitor the flow of clients through programs to insure effective utilization rates
    Analyze the needs of the Department and generate recommendations to program supervisors
    Insure client grievances are addressed promptly and thoroughly
    Insure continuity of care is followed in all programs and interact with Outpatient Director
    Directs the treatment team to ensure that appropriate treatment is provided to clients, while on the unit, and disposition at the time of discharge
    Responsible for monitoring the legal status of clients while on the unit as it pertains to F.S. 394
    Administrative
    Insure program supervisors submit necessary paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
    Insure the flow of communication in all programs, re: memos, policies, meetings, etc.
    Insure UR and Managed Care demands are followed by all programs and submitted to QI Department on time and are complete
    Attend QI functions as indicated
    Insure all staff of Adult Acute Care Services and IRT attends appropriate training and development programs
    Conduct performance reviews in a timely manner
    Responsible for staffing according to shift needs and requirements
    Accountable for hiring, orientation, training, evaluating, and on-site supervision of staff
    Responsible for working with the Facility Director to ensure that the housekeeping, maintenance, and dietary needs of the unit are met
    Lead monthly staff meetings
    OTHER MINOR OR OCCASIONAL TASKS
    • Act as liaison with community agencies
    • Attend Supervisor's and Executive Committee Meetings
    • Performs other duties as assigned
