    Job Title: Civil Engineering Designer

    Salary:

    $83,500.00

    We have partnered with an engineering design and consulting firm in the Cornelius, NC area to provide them with a Civil Engineering Designer.

    Prioritized Must Have Skills

    • Eligible Engineer (EI)/Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
    • 2-6 years of qualifying civil engineering design experience
    • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D
    • No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years

    Responsibilities

    • Perform work with a small team on civil site/land development design, permitting, and construction observation projects
    • Develop strong relationships with team members
    • Design land development projects using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D software
    • Prepare technical design calculations for land development projects
    • Conduct preliminary engineering evaluations, including quantity take-offs and opinions of probable construction cost
    • Perform site visits and prepare associated field reports
    • Observe and coordinate field testing

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BSCE) or Engineering Technology (BSCET)
    • EI/EIT certification required
    • 2-6 years of qualifying civil engineering design experience
    • Previous experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong desire to continue learning and advancing professionally
    • Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record

    Other Key Requirements

    • 100% in-office role
    • No sponsorship or Visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
