    TailWind is seeking a Project Manager. TailWinds Project Managers are responsible for maintaining client satisfaction by managing all cabling, phone system and data-related project activities on behalf of our clients. Project Managers provide project management of client requests for equipment repairs, roll outs, order support, moves and consolidations across multiple locations.

    Essential Functions

    1. Projects assigned to Project Managers may range from large cabling, construction and roll-out projects to small single site engagements depending on the need and size of the client. Project managers may also do repair requests as needed, these requests are not limited to, but are usually related to current engagements that are being worked.
    2. Design and execute project plans and other reports.
    3. Providing guidance and project process frameworks to Jr Project Managers.
    4. Provide clear, timely, thorough, and professional communications to clients regarding project updates, scope changes, and issues that arise. Keep internal and external team members apprised of project- related activities.
    5. Identify and coordinate appropriate resources to complete assigned work
    6. Place and manage orders with material suppliers, equipment rental companies and warehouse equipment requests on orders assigned to the Project Manager
    7. Document details of dispatches, tasks, materials orders, equipment rentals, warehouse orders and activities within the designated Tailwind customers management system. Timely and accurate record management of supplier and vendor expenses.
    8. Manage with check-in/check-out process of TailWinds onsite technicians and assist technicians with scope of work and other job questions.

    10. Ensure project documents are complete, processed and stored appropriately.
    11. Manage deliverables through document management systems
    12. Timely and accurate management of work submittal to finance for customer invoicing.
    13. Ability to efficiently move between unrelated tasks.
    14. Identify and prioritize tasks when there is a need.
    15. Navigate efficiently within Tailwind customer management systems
    16. Other duties as assigned.

    Required Education and Experience

    • 3 or more years of infrastructure Project Management experience for large clients.
    • Must have a high degree of understanding of the Telecommunications Industry.
    • Hands on Field Technician experience a plus.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Self starter and proven ability to work independently and on a team.
    • May require being available for late night cutovers.
    • Strong customer service orientation and ability to develop and maintain relationships.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of PC Tools.
    • Strong work ethic and commitment to integrity.
    • Positive attitude, high energy and pace are a must.
