    Job Overview:

    The Eastern Regional Sales Manager-Showroom holds the responsibility for cultivating and supervising a business enterprise aimed at boosting sales, profits, and client contentment. This position entails overseeing the Sales Team's operations in the Eastern Region, ensuring that sales objectives are not just met but surpassed. Additionally, it involves evaluating the performance of sales agencies within the region, offering guidance and support as needed. Adding new customer showrooms is a key for region growth. Furthermore, tasks encompass devising marketing tactics, creating promotions, nurturing relationships with pivotal clients, resolving customer conflicts, and participating in the quotation process for substantial projects.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Accountable for achieving sales growth and margin objectives.


    • Supervise daily operations of sales agencies, encompassing coaching, performance evaluation, territory planning, client interactions, and goal setting; regularly assess progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).


    • Develop a comprehensive sales strategy to drive territory revenue and margin beyond set targets.


    • Assess the impact of current Independent Representative agencies on the Berenson brand and make decisions regarding training, recruitment, or termination.


    • Provide constructive feedback to marketing and management on necessary enhancements or additions to sales tools.


    • Assume leadership in negotiating major customer agreements, seizing sales opportunities, and handling project quote requests.


    • Compile monthly sales reports detailing sales volume, target account activity, and opportunities.


    • Resolve customer inquiries, issues, or needs promptly and efficiently while maintaining transparent communication internally.


    • Create and implement account strategies by conducting market research, identifying new business prospects, and devising tailored sales plans for each account.


    • Cultivate and manage relationships with key customers, understanding their requirements and serving as the primary contact for sales-related matters.


    • Develop plan to add showroom customers to territory.


    • Train Independent Representatives on targeting new showrooms, defining the preferred showroom types, and the procedure for adding a showroom customer as a direct account.


    • Arrange for the placement of new displays in both existing and prospective customer showrooms.


    • Conduct formal and informal training sessions with showrooms, covering all aspects of Berenson products, the website, and the Samplicity program.

    Qualifications:


    • More than 5 years of experience collaborating with Independent Representative firms.


    • Previous involvement in the kitchen and bath industry showrooms is advantageous.


    • Proven history of success in similar leadership roles, demonstrating strong performance.


    • Documented achievements in business development, generating new revenue streams, and establishing fresh business connections.


    • Essential attributes include being a collaborative team player with excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities.


    • Consistent track record of elevating sales figures across a career in sales.


    • Proficiency in building and nurturing relationships, coupled with adept networking skills.


    • Capable of delivering presentations to both large and small audiences.


    • Exhibits resilience, initiative, drive, and persistence in endeavors.


    • Self-driven individual with the capability to operate autonomously.


    • Holds a bachelor's degree.


    • Willingness to engage in overnight travel, ranging from 30% to 50%, contingent upon residential location.
