AWS Engineer - McLean, United States - ASCENDING LLC

Location:
Hybrid - Onsite in McLean Tuesday through Thursday

Must Haves:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS platform administration.

Must have demonstrated, recent hands-on experience with AWS Console, AWS CLI, AWS services including but not limited to AWS core services, networking, IAM Roles, Cloud Formation Template, Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), & Python.

Schedule:
Core hours 9am-5pm, in addition to a one week long on-call rotation once every 7 weeks

MS Teams, Video Mandatory InterviewA successful candidate will have the following characteristics: History of contributing to deployments and troubleshooting technical issues in an engineering role.

Knowledge of Cloud, software development life cycles, Agile/ScrumRequirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT 5+ years experience in AWS platform support. Demonstrable experience with Jenkins, Jira, Git and Antifactory, ServiceNow Scripting languages (e.g., UNIX Shell / Python)
