- Use Open Table software for reservations.
- Thorough knowledge of our food and beverage and ability to explain them to guests
- Contribute to team effort. Being a team player above all is mandatory
- Positive attitude and excellent communication and people skills
- Professional demeanor and a warm, inviting personality
- Sense of humor and enthusiasm for the job are imperative
- Excellent phone etiquette (a must) and prior multi-line phone experience is a plus
- The ability to shift gears quickly and multitask at the highest level
- At least 2 to 3 years of restaurant experience.
- Able to greet and seat customers accurately and efficiently.
- Make a positive impression at all times.
- Guest oriented with high focus on delivering quality service.
- Strong communication skills.
- Adaptability and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to attend to customers' needs and possess a strong desire to fulfill the requests of the customers at all times.
- Ability to engage in casual conversation with customers without sounding too personal.
- Handling pressure well along with the ability to set priorities and make decisions based on quality.
- Must be well dressed and well spoken.

Rock'N Fish, Manhattan Beach is the flagship property of the Zislis Group's impressive line of inspired restaurants. We provide a fun, casual ambiance where we offer America's best regional cuisine, refreshing hand-crafted cocktails, and impressive global wines with a California focus, right in the heart of downtown Manhattan Beach.
Rock'N Fish is currently seeking a superstar Lead host/hostess with prior hosting experience in a high volume restaurant. As the first person that our guests meet, we are looking for someone who isn't shy and can make a great first and lasting impression to ensure that their dining experience is a positive one
COMPENSATION: $20.00/hour plus great tips | Sick pay (after 90 days) |$200 towards medical insurance (Full-time only after 90 days) | Food and Hotel Discounts | Positive and fun culture with lots of hospitality training, too | Room for advancement for highly motivated employees
