    Job Summary:

    As a physician assistant, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess and diagnose patients. This position is 2-3 days per week.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests
    • Accurately document patient encounters, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic medical records or other documentation systems.
    • Advising patients on preventative care and optimal health practices
    • Ensure quality of tests being performed
    • Analyze and interpret test results i.e. stress tests, chest x-rays, echos, EKGs, etc...
    • Refer patients for further diagnostic testing as needed
    • Relay information between clinics and physicians as needed

    Requirements:

    • Diploma from an accredited Physician Assistant program
    • Current certification as a physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
    • State licensure as a physician assistant, with the ability to obtain and maintain prescriptive authority as required
    • Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess a wide range of medical conditions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
