- Lead and grow the urology service line throughout Central South Carolina (1M+ population) consisting of multiple hospitals (1,000+ beds), surgery centers, and outpatient practices
- Uro-hospitalist support to limit inpatient responsibiliites for faculty - the Chief will oversee the growth of subspecialty programs in the division, including recruitment efforts to onboard fellowship-trained faculty.
- General and plastic surgery residents rotate on the service along with University of South Carolina - Columbia medical school students and there is clearly the potential for development of a urologic surgery training program
- The successful candidate is committed to clinical excellence and interest in expansion of the division and associated multidisciplinary partnerships. Candidates must have a demonstrated commitment to teaching, leadership and research and a track record of successful team leadership.
