    New Graduates
    New registered nurse (RN) graduates benefit from a comprehensive, personalized support system. All RNs in their first nursing role are invited to participate in a Nurse Residency Program alongside nursing orientation. We are a full-spectrum Acuity Adaptable unit, providing med/surg through ICU level care.

    This unit manages 30-beds while providing care for a variety of patient populations with a focus on Cardiology, Cardiovascular Surgery, Endocrinology, and Oncology.

    Our services align with our strategic mission to deliver comprehensive, high quality cardiac and cancer services to the South-Central Region.

    This unit features a strategic education plan to train the novice to expert Registered Nurse to accommodate this model of care.

    Understanding how to balance nurse to patient ratios while providing excellent patient care


    Unit Culture Highlights:
    Great unit for a newer RN to start their career
    Friendly staff members that encourage growth and development
    Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
    Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
    Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
