Job summary
The Site Manager is responsible for leading site acceptance testing (SAT) activities on long-term project sites. This includes managing zones, zone leaders, internal field teams subcontractors vendors ensuring all activities are executed safely efficiently in compliance with project scope schedule quality customer requirements.Responsibilities
- Act as single point operational authority on site for SAT commissioning activities.
- Lead coordinate supervise zone leaders field engineers technicians subcontractors vendors define manage site zones work scopes interfaces between disciplines enforce clear roles responsibilities reporting lines all onsite personnel escalate major risks constraints deviations FAT & SAT Manager Project Management translate overall FAT/SAT strategy into daily weekly execution plans monitor progress against schedule milestones take corrective actions when deviations occur validate site readiness before SAT execution access permits energization windows isolation plans coordinate mobilization demobilization site resources equipment oversee civil construction supporting installation substation equipment foundations trenches grounding grids duct banks structural platforms validate civil completion milestones allowing installation electrical automation equipment supervise full lifecycle E-Houses pad/foundation inspection lifting operations alignment anchoring mechanical/electrical interconnections coordinate heavy-lift activities rigging plans safety controls with subcontractors vendors ensure proper integration HVAC fire protection DC systems cable entry points internal automation panels manage install pre-commissioning DC auxiliary systems battery banks chargers distribution panels validate wiring polarity checks torque requirements insulation tests configuration chargers monitoring systems ensure compliance IEC standards customer specifications redundancy requirements oversee execution SAT commissioning activities Protection Control SCADA MicroSCADA automation integration testing ensure testing according approved procedures checklists customer specifications troubleshoot root-cause analysis corrective actions re-testing punch-list management ensure closure prior system handover act HSE authority for SAT commissioning serve primary onsite contact during phases witness testing daily coordination meetings progress reviews communicate constraints risks mitigation clearly proactively support confidence professional leadership issue resolution document reports Commissioning records Punch-lists NCRs As-built documentation provide coordination summaries FAT & SAT Manager Project Management executeSATactivitiesalignment globalstrategy standards governance defined byFATSATManager provide feedback improve methods procedures future projects support lessons-capturedcontinuousimprovementinitiatives
