    Description: Pittsburg Unified School District is seeking dedicated School Psychologists for the school year. These full-time positions offer opportunities for meaningful work with diverse student populations and comprehensive caseloads. The selected candidates will be responsible for conducting assessments, evaluations, and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.     Responsibilities:

    • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to determine students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
    • Collaborate with educators, administrators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions and support plans.
    • Provide counseling and consultation services to students, families, and staff members as needed.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings, to review assessment findings and develop appropriate educational plans.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessment results, progress notes, and other relevant records.

    Requirements:

    • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
    • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS) with School Psychology authorization.
    • Experience working with diverse student populations in an educational setting.
    • Strong assessment and evaluation skills, including knowledge of standardized assessment tools and diagnostic procedures.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
