    The Workday Functional Lead - HCM will be responsible for HRIS functional support, development of Workday reports, dashboards, scorecards on HR metrics along with Workday system upgrade processes.

    You will also work on the deployment of new functionality by partnering with HR functional areas on system-related process work, and major system implementation.

    This position ensures the integrity, accuracy and proper use of HR information retrieved from the systems.

    In addition, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to end users of all LCMC Health HR Systems.

    The Functional Lead provides on-the-job and formal training to functional system users.

    They are responsible for coordinating the testing of new configurations prior to production, troubleshooting technical issues, and developing and implementing strategies to address problem areas that arise from ongoing operational support.

    Your Everyday

    Core user escalation point for customer related Workday issues - Work with organization end users / customers to diagnose and resolve Workday functional issues.

    Escalate issues and risks to organizational.

    Manage/coordinate multiple Workday functional projects and successfully prioritize multiple support tasks in collaboration with other Workday leads and the organization project management office (PMO).

    Gains key stakeholder alignment on the business value, scope of work, and project prioritization.
    Works independently with clients to review, clarify, and document complex business requirements.
    Build/Update Workday business processes and functional configurations
    Work with subject matter experts to ensure that testing scenarios are created and executed for all configuration updates.
    Defines test plans for unit and system testing – leads testing efforts.
    Resolves system defects and obtains approvals from business if functionality changes are needed.
    Assist core users in the preparation, maintenance, and updating of data in Workday.
    Executes mass data changes in core system (i.e., EIBs), ensuring highest level of data integrity and customer service orientation.
    Use Workday and third party tools for Report writing, calculated fields, managing simple integrations, and Business Process configuration.
    Assist functional users with report development or maintenance.

    Directly interface with the LCMC Health's Implementation Partners/Vendors to help manage the LCMC Health's design, build and roll out of Workday ERP functionality.

    The Must-Haves


    Minimum:
    EXPERIENCE/WORK QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, information technology, computer science, or a related field or equivalent experience.

    3-5 Years in a functional or technical support role in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment, prior experience utilizing various ERP systems and applications.

    Preferred: 3 years' experience in Workday configuration and implementation for HCM, Talent, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, and/or Benefits


    SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Strong understanding and knowledge of Workday business processes.
    Strong creative problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
    Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively across functional areas.
    Experience updating Workday business processes and functional configurations.
    Experience testing Workday business processes and functional configurations, test plan execution, and testing coordination.

    Demonstrated ability to manage/coordinate multiple projects and successfully prioritize multiple tasks with good judgment and in an effective and productive manner.

    Strong customer service ethic delivering with a sense of urgency and handling confidential information discreetly.
    Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    Strong proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
    Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
    Strong attention to detail
