Description
AW Health Care is seeking multiple experienced CNAs and Caregivers for clients located in Ballwin, Chesterfield, and the surrounding areas.
The CNAs/Caregivers will need experience with elderly individuals who have dementia.
Priority will be given to CNAs or Caregivers that have experience with bedbound patients, knowledge of transferring heavier patients with gait belts and Hoyer lifts and have - 5 years or more professional paid experience.
General Availability Needed:
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Shifts can be 2-8 hours depending on client needs.
(You will need to have at least 2-3 days a week availability and 2 weekends a month availability when applying.)

CNA/Caregiver Responsibilities:
Assist the client with personal hygiene such is bathing, care of skin, mouth and hair. Instruct client and family in meeting client's personal hygiene needs
Provide physical assistance in client transfer, positioning and ambulation as outlined in the client care plan.
Assist client with prescribed non-skilled exercises which the client, family, and in-home care aide have been taught by appropriate professional personnel.
Change client bed linen and assist with laundry as needed.Clear client's path of clutter or client's room to provide for maximum client safety.
Prepare a light meal if visit during mealtime.
Assist in cleaning and maintaining supplies and equipment in proper condition.
Assist the recipient with ordinarily self-administered medications (open bottles, get water).
Apply non-prescription topical ointments/lotions to unbroken skin at the recipient's direction.
Assist with any Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) not previously listed and within the scope of service and licensure.
