    Job Title: 1st Shift Warehouse Custodian

    Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7AM to 5:30PM

    Job Summary

    This is a general custodial and maintenance position within our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform various custodial and maintenance tasks throughout the warehouse and surrounding areas.

    • Dispose of corrugated cardboard and trash in an efficient manner.

    • Ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained in all aisles.

    • Other duties may include assisting the maintenance team as needed and operating motorized equipment such as sit-down forklifts and floor sweepers.

    • Maintain adherence to safety standards and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

    Requirements

    • Able to demonstrate good performance and safety records.

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a proper manner.

    • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

    • Able to pass a test for motorized industrial equipment and obtain a license.

    • Physical requirements include being able to properly lift, pack, stack and wrap items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

    • Working conditions involve standing, walking and using hands to touch, grasp, handle and feel items in a moderate noise level environment. Warehouse temperature may reach up to 90 degrees during summer months.

    Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
