    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Paraprofessional to support our teachers and students in achieving academic success at Avant Garde Academy Foundation, Inc. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a critical role in assisting teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for our students.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist teachers in providing a safe and productive learning environment for students
    • Provide individual and small group instruction to students
    • Reinforce learning concepts with students
    • Assist with classroom management and organization
    • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support student success

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education
    • Ability to pass a background check

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in education or related field
    • Experience working with students in a classroom setting
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Skills

    As a Paraprofessional, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to support student success. You will also use your knowledge of learning concepts to reinforce student learning and provide individual and small group instruction. Additionally, you will use your classroom management skills to assist teachers in maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.
