    About the Position


    Aldrich CPAs and Advisors is seeking a Regulatory Consultant for a role pivotal in advising our telecommunications team and clients on regulatory updates and compliance matters who can operate with limited supervision.

    This position involves the preparation of telecommunications cost studies, grant applications, regulatory report filings, and more, providing complex review, planning, and compliance services.

    As a Regulatory Consultant, you will be involved in telecommunications cost studies and will play a crucial role in assisting clients with grant applications, regulatory report filings, cost allocation manuals, continuing property records, depreciation studies, and tariff filings.

    This client-facing position requires strong communication skills, a passion for client interaction, and a commitment to providing timely and high-quality deliverables that exceed client expectations.

    Requirements:
    You'll Get a Chance To

    Prepares regulatory studies including cost segregation studies, and filings as required by the FCC, USAC, NECA, and various state regulatory agencies.

    Actively participates in client meetings and strategy planning efforts.
    Assists with the preparation of expert testimony supporting results of regulatory studies, including cost segregation studies, if necessary.
    Acts as resource for team members on specific issues and/or questions related to cost segregation studies and regulatory compliance.
    Communicates with senior managers concerning important client matters and developments affecting clients.
    Maintains familiarity with industry requirements, policies, procedures, and precedent.
    Provides timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations.
    What You Bring to the Team
    Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting, Finance, Telecommunications or Business.
    At least 3-5 years of regulatory consulting experience.
    Thorough understanding of telecommunications cost study reporting procedures.

    Demonstrates continuous learning and development mindset, actively seeking opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills while adhering to organizational values and ethical standards.

    Efficiently manages time and prioritizes tasks, adapting readily to changes in the work environment and demonstrating flexibility in handling unexpected events.

    At Aldrich, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensations decisions are dependent on facts and circumstances of each candidate.

    The compensation offered may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, and other job-related reasons. Aldrich makes internal equity a consideration in all pay decisions. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000-80,000.


    You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational goals.
