    Description


    The primary focus of this position is to support operations and provide analytical assessments of Material flow-storage types, Master data, Material Master, assessments of logistics processes and initiatives.

    Customer packaging and shipping requirements into systems and lead process improvements across the logistics and supply chain networks.
    Duties & Responsibilities
    Development and implementation of logistics and warehousing strategies that deliver competitive advantages. Optimization of processes and equipment
    Drive projects and process improvements utilizing best project management practices to achieve strategic goals and KPIs
    Develops and implements processes and procedures for the Warehouse.
    Continuous improvement of material handling processes
    Design of finished goods warehouse storage facility for optimum process efficiency
    Prepares Warehouse for physical inventory.
    Support and drive activities around operational excellence through cross-functional, team-based projects
    Specify and acquire capital equipment purchases
    Support product development activities to specify robust packaging requirements for products
    Skills, Experience & Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering or Business Management PREFERRED
    3-5 years of logistics/warehouse experience a REQUIRED
    Knowledge of the ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) a PLUS

    MTM certified:
    MTM UAS or Logistics PREFERRED

    Lean manufacturing knowledge:
    Lean Six Sigma PREFERRED
    Advanced understanding of work measurement analytics, such as VSM and cycle timing
    Procurement and materials management experience a PLUS
    Experience leading and working in cross functional teams
    Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office suite required
    Domestic Travel - 20% or less, may be REQUIRED
