    General Position Objectives: We are seeking a dedicated Retail Store Leader (RSL) to spearhead the sales and operational excellence of our retail locations. An effective RSL will inspire their team and drive outstanding performance across all areas. This role encompasses overall sales achievement, exceptional customer service, operational integrity, inventory management, and personal management of team members. The RSL is tasked with ensuring that the team consistently meets or exceeds sales targets while cultivating a vibrant customer experience. When necessary, the RSL will assist with sales, address customer inquiries, and resolve conflicts to maintain high satisfaction levels.

    Sales:

    • Fully accountable for executing sales initiatives and customer experience initiatives in-store.
    • Meet and exceed designated goals for customer satisfaction, sales, and productivity.
    • Ensure every team member exemplifies our commitment to outstanding customer service.
    • Demonstrate exceptional leadership and coaching skills consistently.
    • Maintain a high standard of customer experience regularly.
    • Assist team members with customer transactions on the sales floor.
    • Effectively resolve or escalate billing or service issues as needed.

    Operations:

    • Coach and guide team members on critical sales metrics, recognize successes, and hold team accountable for improvement.
    • Conduct regular role-plays and training sessions to enhance skills.
    • Collaborate with the District Manager to launch new products, services, or processes successfully.
    • Oversee all store activities to ensure smooth operations.
    • Complete all weekly operational paperwork according to company guidelines.
    • Address any store-level fraud issues promptly with the District Manager and/or HR.

    Personnel Management:

    • Partner with the District Manager to assess staffing needs and headcount forecasts.
    • Schedule staffing to effectively meet business demands and training activities.
    • Provide ongoing feedback to team members regarding sales techniques and customer service.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Participate in the hiring process, recommending candidates for job offers and disciplinary actions, including terminations.
    • Inspire and motivate employees to achieve success by leading by example.
    • Support the development of employees through task delegation and guidance.
    • Assist in creating individual development plans for direct reports.
    • Conduct regular performance management and coaching sessions.
    • Help employees understand the compensation plan to maximize their earnings.
    • Ensure team members are well-trained on new products and promotions.

    Merchandising:

    • Accountable for maintaining adherence to merchandising standards.
    • Foster a sense of pride in the store's appearance, making it the face of our brand.
    • Work together with the District Manager on promotional and marketing activities.
    • Collaborate with local organizations to participate in community events.

    Compliance:

    • Ensure operational compliance with back-office procedures and company policies.
    • Respond promptly to requests for supporting information or corrections.
    • Complete required training in a timely manner.
    • Implement and inspect both existing and new retail programs, tools, and training.

    Qualifications:

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Proven sales abilities with a track record of exceeding performance benchmarks.
    • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Proficient in operating a personal computer and basic office equipment.
    • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
    • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
    • Willingness to travel between multiple locations in the district is desirable.

    Education and Experience:

    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 2 years of management experience.

    Working Conditions:

    • Physical Effort: Requires moderate physical activity, including lifting average-weight objects (up to 30 pounds) and standing for extended periods (more than 9 hours a day).
    • Physical Risk: Some exposure to physical risks requiring adherence to basic safety protocols; ability to use a ladder, lift up to 15 lbs overhead, carry 50 lbs or more for at least 100 feet, and comply with bending and stooping requirements.
