    Northmarq is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Commercial Investment Sales team as a Transaction Coordinator in our Portland(Lake Oswego) office. The to-be-hired Coordinator should possess strong organizational skills as well as the ability to exercise independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize the diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. While investment sales and/or commercial real estate experience is not required, the ideal candidate will have a strong desire to dive into the industry and the ability to learn quickly.

    Position Responsibilities:
    Transactional Duties:
    • Assist team members on team site visits and on-site tours for prospective buyers, and property management-related questions
    • Assist team members with property-related due diligence materials, escrow management, transactional timelines, and internal and external deal processing.
    • Process vendor invoices and expenses with corporate accounting on a regular basis
    • Manage client submission of confidentiality agreements for each transaction and all team assignments
    • Track, evaluate, and monitor day-to-day activities on all active assignments and going-forward pipeline
    • Coordinate with the Debt & Equity division on all active engagements as well
    Broker Coordinator Duties:
    • Coordinate team meetings and be an active participant in team discussions regarding ongoing and future business initiatives set forth by the Managing Director(s)
    • Assist team members in coordinating meetings
    • Track and monitor client meetings and client-engagement efforts, for internal use and reporting efforts
    • Track, manage and proactively monitor client onboarding system
    • Take on new projects and duties as position and department grow
    • Perform general office administration tasks as needed
    • Perform office administration tasks such as composing, editing, formatting, and proofreading documents, and reports
    • Support team with special projects, such as ideating new events and client engagement programs to engage target audiences in value-added services, products, and programs to reinforce the brand value of NM
    What We're Looking For:
    • Minimum of 1 year of office operations work experience required or equivalent combination of education and work experience
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Strong organization and time management skills, ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to Adobe CC Suite and MS Office, , experience in Salesforce a plus.
    • Ability to work after regular office hours if needed
    • The ability to think critically is crucial for making informed decisions and solving complex issues that may arise in transactional duties.
    • Have a state Affiliate Broker Real Estate License or be willing to become licensed within 120 days of employment
