    Days, Evenings, Every Other WeekendImaging DepartmentJob Summary:
    The MR Tech works under the supervision of the Imaging Department Director. They assist the patient population by performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging exams, procedures, and all related duties.

    The MR Tech is responsible as a member of the healthcare team for respectful and compassionate care and communication with patients, coworkers and other customers of Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital.


    Here's what you'll do when you join us:
    Perform MRI procedures on patients of all ages and for all areas of Grand Itasca.
    Examine provider orders to assure proper tests are completed.
    Instruct and prepare patient for their procedure.
    Operate equipment following the MRI procedure protocols.
    Obtain and prepare images for reading and evaluate images for quality and technical clarity.
    Perform quality control procedures.
    Maintain safe patient environment in the procedure area.

    Assist with protocols and scheduling MRI exams, work with the radiologist to ensure the MRI protocols are current and properly used.

    Assist with training new employees in MRI.Provide guidance and instruction for Radiologic Tech students.
    Other duties as assigned.

    If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:
    American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registered or ARMRIT certification required.
    Meet MRI Safety Screen requirements upon hire.
    ARRT MR certification required within 18 months of hire.
    BLS certification, or ability to obtain with 2 months of hire and maintain certification.
    Good computer skills.
    Good interpersonal communication skills.
    Demonstrate ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca's policies, vision, mission and values.
    Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
