    The Associate Director, Supplier Quality and Incoming QA provides direct oversight and guidance to supplier related topics,

    supplier quality audit and training program and incoming inspections

    to ensure bioMérieux manufactured products are appropriately measured and monitored according to quality system requirements (e.g., QSR and ISO9001/ISO This position w orks closely with Suppliers, Global Purchasing, Supply Chain, Industrialization, Manufacturing and Engineering in the management of the supplier quality program.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Leadership:
    Models the principles and behaviors of bioMérieux and ensures personnel follow the company code of conduct.
    Manages and develops personnel. Takes ownership for team cohesion and team development.
    Interacts in a positive and professional manner with colleagues, internal departments, contractors, vendors and consultants.
    Provides appropriate team support in cross-function activities (e.g. cross-functional projects and audits such as MDSAP, FDA, ISO, customer and internal inspections/audits).

    Supports Global Purchasing with the supplier qualification process.
    Ensures supplier level is accurately assigned based on global bioMerieux requirements.
    Ensures supporting supplier qualification data (e.g. Supplier Self Survey and other qualification documents) are accurate

    Identifies which suppliers need to be audited each year based on supplier performance, qualification and/or business needs in accordance with Global Supplier Audit requirements.

    Ensures the Supplier Audit Program meets Global and Regulatory requirements and training program is in place to ensure auditors are appropriately trained.

    Leads or assigns Lead Auditors for Supplier Quality audits to ensure suppliers' process capability meets bioMerieux requirements.
    Ensures supplier responses to audits are complete and accurate and address the root cause of the finding. Escalates concerns to Global Purchasing for resolution.
    Coaches suppliers on complying with relevant requirements.

    Incoming Inspection:
    Supports activities of Incoming Inspectors and ensures material and component specifications are documented and adhered to. Works with Purchasing, Supply Chain and/or Industrialization to remove roadblocks, as applicable.


    Relationship Management:
    Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
    Works collaboratively and engages with key stakeholders to facilitate compliance with the purchasing strategy
    Communicate any changes with internal and external stakeholders

    Leads strategy implementation and sets/monitors progress of team objectives which align with company and site objectives.
    Identifies areas of deficiency and implements practices to improve employee safety, ergonomics, poor workflow, etc. Recommends and implements efficiencies for process improvements which result in effective outcomes.

    Education, Skills, & Experience:


    Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in a related industry, with a minimum of 3+ years of supervisory experience.


    Project management, performance on cross-functional project teams and indirect management experience will be considered in lieu of direct supervisory experience.

    Academic experience will be considered in lieu of related industry experience.

    Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) preferred.
    Experience in supporting regulatory audits (i.e. FDA, MDSAP, ISO, etc.).
    Able to demonstrate experience in the interpretation and application of relevant Domestic and International Regulations and Industry Standards (e.g. ISO, FDA.).
