    • Mt Vernon, INWe are looking for energetic and results driven full time & PRN EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics to join our Emergency Response Team (ERT) Help us provide 24/7 onsite support at a major local manufacturer in Mt Vernon, IN.

    What will you be doing in this role?Respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency transportsAssess a patient's condition and determine a course of treatment per local and site protocolsProvide first-aid treatment and/or advanced-level life support to patientsRespond to all fires/fire alarms and taking appropriate actionsDocument medical care given to patients in a prompt and effective mannerInventory, replace, and clean supplies and equipment after useInspect and complete audits on all equipment and systemsAssist medical clinic staff with patient needs as requestedPerform surveillance and random drug screens as neededThis does not necessarily list all responsibilities, duties, requirements, or efforts associated with the job.

    Our ideal candidate will have:
    The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensureCPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)

    ACLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)The ability to stand or sit throughout entire assigned shift, walk for extended periods of time, and climb several flights of stairsMust be able to lift and carry 60lbs at least 100 feetA high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communicationThe ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervisionBe able to maintain confidentialityBasic computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelAbout ProgressiveHealth:
