    About the role:

    Enova is currently searching for a Leave of Absence Specialist to join our team. This role will administer and coordinate the leave of absence and accommodation processes. Under the guidance of the Benefits Manager, this individual will act as a liaison between Enova's third party leave administrator and HR/management to answer general employee leave of absence questions and facilitate the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) interactive process This role will also support the Benefits Analyst in the administration of Enova's health and welfare and retirement benefit plans including, but not limited to employee guidance, open enrollment, on-going benefit management (qualified life events, etc.), preparation/payment of vendor premiums, claims management, payroll integrations, reporting, eligibility tracking, etc. Ownership of certain special projects and benefits related initiatives will also be expected.

    Leave Administration responsibilities:

    • Process owner for all LOA/FMLA, STD/LTD and ADA Accommodation questions and concerns
    • Understand, interpret and ensure adherence to FMLA and ADA, State, Local, and Company Leave guidelines
    • Meet with Associates regularly regarding the LOA/FMLA process, compliance and administrative steps necessary to comply with company policies and procedures. (This can include in-person, email, and/or phone conversations.)
    • Coordinate with Enova's third party leave administrator to ensure Enova's Leave policies are being administered correctly and manage the communication processes from all sides
    • Prepare and deliver LOA process training to various levels of management
    • Communicate LOA/FMLA regulations, guidelines for compliance and administrative duties to all levels of management and team members
    • Maintain and update applicable Associate and Manager wiki (intranet) pages
    • Collaborate with HR team on attendance issues related to FMLA and/or Company Leaves and performance concerns with related accommodation requests
    • Partner with Payroll team to ensure Associates on LOA are compensated correctly
    • Update HRIS (Workday) with LOA status and other information, as needed
    • Create and manipulate various reports for Benefits Manager, HR team and Work Force Management (Time-Keeping)
    • Administer all New Parents benefits, including pre-leave check-in meetings
    • Support employees and HR/management with Workers Compensation claims

    Benefit Administration responsibilities:

    • Ensure policies, procedures, plan documents and reporting are in compliance
    • Assist with and coordinate Health & Welfare annual open enrollment
    • Assist with retirement audits and year-end processes
    • Assist with coordination of annual wellness events (flu-shots and health screenings)
    • Manage weekly Retirement plan reconciliation and remittance with payroll and recordkeeper
    • Review, reconcile and process vendor payments and implement billing audit process
    • Update and troubleshoot HRIS configuration for benefit plan changes and events, monitor weekly integration files, and escalate issues to third-party consultant
    • Serve as one of the primary internal points of contact for all employee questions and issue resolution related to Health & Welfare and Retirement benefit programs
    • Deliver New Hire benefits orientation presentations

    Requirements:

    • 2+ years of benefits and leave administration and/or human resources experience in a high demand, high output role with a demonstrated track record of success
    • Strong attention to intricate details and ability to think critically about data received and transmitted both internally and externally
    • Working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations affecting welfare, disability and retirement and workers compensation programs, including, but not limited to, ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and PFWA.
    • Strong technical/analytical skills with an ability to manipulate data in Excel, knowledge of formulas and pivot tables.
    • General knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday benefits module experience strongly preferred)
    • Strong focus on customer service and innate sensitivity to associate personal matters
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with specific emphasis on ability to clearly communicate process flows and complex administrative tasks to stakeholders
    • Ability to effectively manage sensitive and confidential communications and materials
    • Demonstrated experience effectively partnering with third-party vendors
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
