Bowhead seeks a Telecommunications Mechanic II for a newly awarded contract effort to provide Base Telecom Support at the Puget Sound, WA Shipyard and satellite locations.<+Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain government-owned telephony switches (PBX), including: Nortel Meridian Option 81c
- Troubleshoot and repair of switch issues Software updates and patching Installation and configuration of switch hardware Daily operation monitoring Support for voicemail systems and IPE (Remote Intelligent Peripheral Equipment) Utilize company vehicle to travel to remote locations weekly Ensure switch systems remain fully operational and compliant with DoD/Navy standards. Other duties as assigned.
