Cleaning Station Operator: Through inspections and collaborative problem-solving, this role ensures customer satisfaction. The objective of this role is to clean small filter parts with chemicals to ensure each filter is free of debris before shipping to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Follow department work order schedule based on priorities.
• Perform designated inspection and cleaning operations per drawing/ work order requirements.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical guides, and protectors to measure and validate the quality of work.
• Cross-train with multiple production departments as a backup operator for well-rounded production experience and skill building.
• Perform quality checks on parts completed; validate the quality of your work independently and validate individual parts produced against customer specifications.
• Collaborate with quality team for process improvements, while maintaining accurate records.

Location: Wayland, MI – Manufacturing Facility

Category: Non-exempt employee, full time

Shift: First (7:00 am – 3:30 pm)

Pay: $15 - $16 per hour with a potential pay increase after 90 -days.

Qualified candidates will possess the following minimum requirements:

• Due to ITAR requirements, we can only consider American Citizens for this position.
• Must have at least 20/20 vision – with vision correction aides (i.e. glasses, contacts)
• Must be able to remain seated and/or standing for extended periods
• Must be able to operate shop resources with arms and hands
• Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen that includes marijuana
• Attention to detail is a must, along with the ability to ignore distractions while working
