    The

    UH Geauga Regionals Medical Center Cath Lab


    is a small group of dedicated cardiac professionals who enjoy the challenge of treating cardiac, peripheral and interventional Radiology procedures.

    EP pacemaker and ICD implants are also done in our cath lab.

    Plenty of variety Our team enjoys caring for these patients at some of the most stressful times in their lives.

    If you enjoy a fast paced work environment with lots of opportunity to grow and learning opportunity, the Cath Lab is for you Continuous education, in-services and shadowing over a minimum 3 month period are priority before you would be placed on call, insuring your confidence and that of your team mates.

    Cardiac Cath Lab RNs work closely with our techs and may scrub, circulate or monitor cases rotating as necessary.

    Position Summary

    Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

    Essential Functions
    Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care.
    Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
    Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
    Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing.
    Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.
    Required For All Jobs

    Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
