Position SummaryPerforms assignments designed to develop professional engineering work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and related engineering tasks.
Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results, and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes.
Responsibilities/ DutiesIndependently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.
Experience with rotating & static equipment design specifications, and preparation of equipment data sheets, request for quotes, bid tabulation and request for purchasing packages.
Preparation of specifications, process study, research investigations, report preparation and other activities of limited scope.Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements or cultures.
May supervise or coordinate the work of technicians and others who assist in specific assignments.Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
Establishing courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently.Being aware of conditions that affect employee safety.
Using appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to help build a cohesive team; facilitating the completion of team goals.
