    is looking for a

    Principal Project Management

    to join our team in

    Cape Canaveral, FL

    working with the U.S. Navy and other external and internal Customers. This role will be supporting Logistics Operations for the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Program.

    Additional duties within the organization include:
    Assist in the development and maintenance of a GEIA-STD-0007 compliant logistics product database (LPD).

    Coordinate efforts to identify, resolve, and/or mitigate Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues on selected bill of materials.

    Performing logistics product support analyses to identify parts, equipment, activities, and skillset necessary to maintain systems and retain operational availability
    Coordinating with other team members to integrate sparing and level of repair analyses results into Logistics Support Analysis.
    Create Logistic Summary Analysis reports (LSA) per customer requirements
    Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, engineers, and customer.
    Serve as logistics liaison between the engineers, and customer at build yards, shipyards, and test facilities.
    Assesses project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
    Manage provisioning conferences and formal provisioning.
    Prepare and submit data items in accordance with DoD requirements and contracts.
    Participate in and presenting information in team and customer meetings.
    Interacting with team leads to interpret Customer needs and requirements
    Perform Cost Account Manager (CAM) roles and activities
    Contribute to proposal efforts

    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree with 6 years' experience or Masters with 4 years' experience
    Able to take direction and work independently
    Prior experience in Program/Project Management
    Prior experience working with cross-functional organizations (Program Office, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Business Management, Field Operations, or closely related)
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, and SAP MRP (or similar) system.
    Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Knowledge of GEIA-STD-0007
    Working knowledge of Earned Value Management
    Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Access
    Experience with Logistic Product Database software tools such as SLICwave, EAGLE, etc
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership, and problem-solving abilities

    Salary Range:
    $76,600 - $115,000


    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

    In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
