    Supply Chain Analyst

    Job Summary:

    The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for developing the master production plan to satisfy customer demand while carrying minimum inventory. This is a diverse position covering the planning, scheduling, releasing, and tracking of workflow from order initiation through customer shipment. Sales forecasts, new business opportunities, customer priorities, lead time expectations, plant capacity and internal supply constraints are all considered and balanced when developing or adjusting the rolling production plan. Strong collaboration with the Business management team, Production, Engineering, and Customer Service will be critical to meeting business goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Use Order Status Report to plan production schedules in advance and assure that all products are completed at the appropriate time
    • Assists with customer expedite requests and communicate with customers regarding order status and changes
    • Reviews booked orders, forecasts, plant capacity, inventory levels and shipping needs to develop production schedules and plans production work to fulfill current or forecasted orders
    • Provides input to and executes on production schedules
    • Maintains and monitors packaging inventory balances and escalates critical material needs
    • Attends daily production planning meeting and provides relevant updates and input
    • Maintains schedule-in's and schedule-out's, monitors customer expedite or change requests
    • Monitors and maintains raw material inventory balances and escalates critical material need
    • Works cross functionally with Sales and Plant Operations to identify, escalate and address capacity issues.
    • Support accurate delivery commitments and lead time confirmations based on current availability of materials and capacity
    • Perform demand analysis each quarter highlighting areas of concern for the next 12 months

    Requirements

    • Ability to think globally and yet quickly identify key issues and critical tasks
    • Excellent problem solving and analysis skills
    • Ability to develop and deliver clear, concise and persuasive presentations
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • APICS CPIM certification preferred
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent & 2 - 5 years of experience
    • Experience with and working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, Manufacturing Executive systems
    • SAP and Microsoft Office
    • Experience in a fast paced manufacturing/production environment preferred
    • Experience with the medical device industry and regulatory standards including 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485
    • Solid negotiation skills and ability to reason and influence on all levels
