- Paraprofessionals in classroom to assist as well as other nurses on site
- 8 students in a classroom with varying disabilities
- Assist with feeding, Hoyerlift transfer
- Assist with wheelchair for Cerebral Palsy
- Know how to assist with seizures as well as blindness
- Will go into the community at times
- There is a summer component for 6 weeks
- Monday- Thursday with shorter days
- Valid Licensed PracticalNurse (LPN) license in the state of MA
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and dedicated to the well-being of students.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
