    Job Description

    About the Role:

    The plasma donation center is a fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with donors every day. Your commitment to customer service and quality will be expected, and you will report to the Plasma Center Manager.

    You will perform as a plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. This role requires afternoon/evening availability, including weekends and holidays.

    Your Key Responsibilities:

    • Answer phones, greet, and focus on our donors while ensuring the safety of both.
    • Screen new and repeat donors, take and record vital signs, and finger stick results.
    • Use our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
    • Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes using company-approved procedures.
    • Be there for our donors by working varied shifts, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

    What You Bring to BioLife:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
    • Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
    • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
    • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs., and rarely 50 lbs.
    • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
    • Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1)
    • Minimum one year of experience in a customer-facing role is helpful
