    LocumJobsOnline is working with Adelphi Medical Staffing to find a qualified Emergency Medicine MD in Foley, Alabama, 36535

    About The Position

    Job Quick Facts:


    • Specialty: Emergency Medicine

    • Shift Schedule: 12 or 24-hr shifts
    - At least 8-10 shifts per month

    • Patient Volume: 18-22
    - High acuity and see 2 patients per hour.

    • Annual Visits: 28,000

    • Admissions Required: Yes; 20%

    • Support Staff: 1 NP/PA, 1 Office Staff

    • 24-hr Support Services: Anesthesia, Cath Lab, General Surgery, Lab, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology & Vascular Surgery.

    • Beds in the Dept: 21

    • EMR: Medhost

    • L&D Dept Available: Yes

    • Required to Supervise APPs: Yes

    • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

    • Temporary Privileges available: Yes

    • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

    Job Requirements

    Requirements:

    • Active AL License or IMLC

    • BC/BE

    • ACLS, ATLS, PALS

    • Clean record

    • Drive-in candidates are preferred

    • Need to be comfortable with high acuity
