$ $34.26 hourly; Based on qualifications and skills2nd Shift: 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM or 3rd Shift:10:30 PM to 7:30 AM

Position Summary:
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and maintain plant equipment

Keywords:
Maintenance, mechanic, industrial, technician, PM, CMMS, preventive maintenanceQualifications: 1-year minimum related work experience. Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8-hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. Must be able and available to work overtime and weekends as required. Must complete a pre-employment background check, drug test and physical. High school diploma or equivalent.


Position Duties:
Safely perform routine preventative maintenance on facility equipment using basic hand tools. Effectively troubleshoot equipment and minimize production downtime events. Assist with various work orders throughout facility. Input tasks completed in SAP and other required computer programs. Communicate with managers and employees within maintenance and in other departments throughout workday and respond appropriately to maintenance requests.


Knowledge/experience in the following areas:
Basic Electrical Wiring & Troubleshooting, ability to read schematics.
Pipe Fitting/Plumbing
Welding
or the ability to learn.
Hydraulics- basic circuits
Pneumatics- air flow and components
Automatic Equipment Operation (setup, repair, and tear down)
PLCs and how they operate.
Expected to possess good judgment.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:
Wide variations in environment temperature (-10 freezer, 32-degree coolers, 40-degree plant, wet cold environment) dust, noise, slippery floors and moving equipment, wearing appropriate PPE is required

Physical Demands:
Position will include extensive standing, sitting, lifting, wearing factory required equipment while working in production, walking, climbing stairs, visual inspections, quick responses to equipment/team needs
