POSITION SUMMARY: The position of Loan Technology Specialist is responsible for maintaining the software utilized by the Loan Department, including, but not limited to, Sageworks, Encompass, and Premier.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensure that the following software works as intended daily:
o Abrigo Sageworks (commercial / consumer loan origination)
o ICE Encompass (residential loan origination)
o Kinective Ground Control (for loan boarding)
o TruStage (loan document vendor)
2. Manages user access, performs routine system maintenance, and troubleshoots technical issues. Performs robust issue tracking. Escalate issues to vendors or internal IT staff when necessary.
3. Works with Lending Operations management to evaluate and implement new software features. Tests updates in a controlled environment prior to deploying into production. Documents software changes in a robust manner.
4. Will assist with training new users and will assist with training on the use of any new software-related process or procedure. Will assist internal training personnel with training videos or other training materials as required.
5. May work on special projects as presented.
6. Will work with other loan department personnel to develop ideas that lead to process improvement.
7. May attend conferences as a representative of Farmers National Bank.
8. May assist with monthly loan reconciliation and accounting.
9. Will assist with core loan and customer maintenance requests.
10. May assist with boarding loans to core and processing booking transactions.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs other work-related duties as assigned
2. Performs Job Duties in Accordance with all appropriate laws and regulations to include BSA.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
In carrying out the duties of this position, proficiency in speaking and understanding English is essential. The role frequently involves the use of hands and fingers for processing loan documents. Employees typically spend approximately 80% of their time seated at a desk. Occasionally, the position requires bending, kneeling, crouching (approximately 5% of the workday), walking (10%), and climbing or balancing (less than 5%). Lifting up to 15 pounds may also be required to fulfill job responsibilities.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well.
2. College Degree or equivalent work experience.
3. Experience in lending support and operations is preferred.
4. Ability to comprehend and interpret computer software programs.
5. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
