Join our team of approximately 48,000 diverse and high-performing professionals globally who are making their mark on some of the world's most beloved brands including DEWALT BLACK+DECKER CRAFTSMAN STANLEY CUB CADET and HUSTLER As Plant Controller you'll be part of our Industrial Finance Controllership team working as an onsite employee You'll get to Financial Governance Internal Controls Maintain accurate financial statements in strict accordance with US GAAP and corporate policies Lead comprehensive month-end quarterly closing processes to ensure timely accurate reporting Drive full compliance with SarbanesOxley SOX requirements continuously improve site's internal control environment Oversee inventory management including coordination year-end physical inventories cycle counting programs development robust control procedures Manage fixed asset sub-ledger expenditure monitoring Construction-in-Progress reviews asset audits Proactively identify accounting risks implement effective mitigation strategies Collaborate plant manager operations team provide transparent actionable financial reporting Develop manage annual budgets periodic financial forecasts Analyze plant performance variances translating data insights drive operational improvements Provide high-level scenario modeling ad-hoc business case analysis support strategic investment ROI Deliver financial presentations plant leadership business units corporate stakeholders Standardize routine business processes eliminate waste drive value creation Foster culture continuous improvement accountability professional development within finance operations teams
