Job DescriptionScope/Summary Statement: The Accounts Receivable/Sales Order Representative will thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where they will use their excellent communication and organizational skills to perform effectively.
Job Function Statements:
· Processing of daily invoicing, freight bills and credit memos
· Work with various departments to ensure customer orders are being processed and billed correctly
· Enter orders for small sized customer base
· Maintain consignment reporting to make sure inventories balance, transfer material to the correct warehouse locations and communicate with customers regarding their consignment accounts
· Pick orders from Laredo warehouse as well as help customers as needed
· Manage emailing of shipping and invoicing documents for our customers in Mexico
· Correct or resolve invoice/payment issues
· Assist co-workers with various Customer Service duties as needed
Education and / or Experience:
· High School graduate or GED required; further education is highly recommended.
· Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy is a must.
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
· Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook.
· High degree of flexibility, as well as self-direction in both learning and job performance.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform related tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
· Knowledge of export documents and terms is highly favorable.
