- Manage curriculum development and publishing by creating project plans and designing financial education content.
- Write design documents for new content/features/initiatives with input from product, operations, data, & engineering partners.
- Develop compelling roadmaps, metrics, and milestones to our desired user engagement goals and measure progress towards them.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to build content management systems to support content delivery.
- Measure and iterate on product capabilities through experimentation, user feedback, and analysis.
- This role reports directly to COO
- 7+ years of learning management, edtech or behavioral science experience. Prior startup experience a plus.
- Deep understanding of our audience; ability to design curriculum, content and features that meet our users where they are.
- Ability to leverage fundamental principles of behavioral science to help reduce the social, cultural and emotional barriers to participation in the financial markets.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Creative problem solver. Able to identify real obstacles and viable solutions.
- Role is remote but ideally based in Boston or NYC, which is where most of the team is based.
- You have high emotional intelligence (EQ) and empathy, and can use this to communicate with Stackwell users (some of whom have fear and mistrust of financial markets due to historical exclusion) in a culturally congruent way.
- You have strong leadership skills with a team-oriented and collaborative approach to work.
- You are a strong project and team manager who drives organizational efficiency and keeps initiatives on track with very little oversight.
- You are versatile and have the ability and willingness to flex across various roles, responsibilities within the organization.
- You are comfortable directly challenging opinions, assumptions, and actions, but always get behind the decisions that are in the best interest of the company.

We partner with higher education institutions, large financial services firms, community and professional organizations, corporate employee resources groups and professional sports teams, enabling the Black community to access financial investment tools, financial resources, and guidance necessary to build lasting wealth, equity and equal opportunity. Stackwell recently completed a Series A financing round, positioning the firm well for breakout growth in 2024 and beyond.
Head of Learning Management Role:
The Head of Learning Management will be responsible for the strategy, design, and development of our in-app and workshop content, with the goal of making. investing more accessible to our community. We leverage behavioral science to make investing stress-free and help users build healthy habits around money. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and building learning management systems; a background in edtech or behavioral science; and an interest in financial services, fintech, and financial access and inclusion.
