    Description

    QRC Technologies is actively seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern with a focus on radio frequency or software defined radio technologies. The Electrical Engineering Intern will have opportunities to help build and design the next generation of QRC's software defined radio products. You will experience the triumphs and challenges of working on a fast-paced Integrated Product Team (IPT). You will gain first-hand experience building a customer-ready demonstrable protype within a lab setting.

    You will experience the joy of requirements reviews, design drawings and schematics; identify components; assemble prototypes or test stacks; test components; prepare supporting documentation and troubleshoot or remedy system malfunctions. You will use electronics equipment such as oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, signal generators, and others during your time here. You will be trained to operate a variety of software tools to collaborate with the teams and assess system performance.

    You will be teamed with other interns from various Engineering and Product Management disciplines to create the prototype of a product that has the potential to impact our customer base.

    Requirements

    • Familiarity with analog circuits, digital circuits, computer programming, power circuits
    • of RF Engineering.
    • Familiarity with volt-ohm-meters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers and most commonly used electronics lab equipment.
    • Ability to read technical engineering documents such as process descriptions and procedure manuals, technical drawings, and other technical documents.
    • Frequently move products and test equipment weighing up to 50lbs across the labs for varying test needs.
    • Student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
    • College Junior or Senior, or a Sophomore with the recommendation from a professor
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Proficient is use of Microsoft Office
    • Due to Federal Industrial Security requirements, proof of US citizenship is required
