    The Senior Accountant will lead


    and manage the monthly reconciliation of the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies, as well as assist in payroll and month-end report.

    Key responsibilities:
    Prepare month-end journal entries to reflect the financial transactions that occurred during the month.
    Oversee and update the maintenance of various account schedules, including fixed assets, depreciation, prepayments, leases, accruals, and others.
    Manage the company's payroll tax accounts, ensuring compliance with state regulations and overseeing the filing of relevant returns.
    Assist in the implementation and utilization of projects via Unanet to track and streamline financial procedures.
    Assist in the preparation of customer billing documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the customer billing process.
    Aid in accounts reconciliation and maintain accurate cash balances.
    Support the preparation of payroll, ensuring accurate data entries, and addressing any corrections needed in timesheets.

    Work closely with the Accounting Manager to lead and coordinate month-end activities and transactions, ensuring financial statements are prepared accurately and on time.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
    Must have experience with the Unanet ERP system.

    Minimum of three (3) years of experience working on federal projects; OR Minimum of five (5) years of combined experience and education.

    Demonstrates a strong understanding of both Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    Must have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    Possesses good communication skills, both oral and written.
