Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will provide manufacturing and supply chain support, including fixture and process design, qualification, and improvement for new product introduction and sustainment of existing product lines.
Ideal candidate is junior undergraduate seeking a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manufacturing performance analysis and development of related process
improvements
Engineering support for the launch of new products
Education/Experience:
Must complete at least first two years of engineering school and maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0
Working on completion of BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial / Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering or Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering Technology
Experience with 3D modeling, physical prototyping and subtractive manufacturing desired
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical
journals
Ability to respond to common
inquiries
Ability to communicate effectively and technically
