- Master's Degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, or the Biological Sciences
- An additional Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's in Healthcare Administration (MHA) is preferred.
- American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) certification as a Medical Technologist (MT), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or Microbiologist (M).
