    As a Project Manager, you will lead a temporary organization, established for the purpose of developing and improving customer management.

    You will strive to deliver value by enabling fast flow and deliver frequent customer value due to lean processes, fast decision making and high empowerment with trusted and motivated colleagues, often cross the Volvo Group , external partners and suppliers.

    You will create an effective collaboration between several disciplines and work close with the business stakeholders for understanding the value, worth and the business benefits.

    You will bring experience in managing complex multiple activities and a tight schedule with specific deliverables.
    You will report to the VP, Customer Experience, VFS Global HQ. This position will be located in Greensboro, NC (USA).


    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Deliver value to stakeholders in the constantly changing business and demands by encouraging agile ways of working like the ability to define needs and split a large delivery into minor consecutive releases
    • Setup project team, propose governance structure, and select/adapt project/delivery method (Agile SCRUM or Hybrid) and tools to the context of the project/delivery
    • Ensure that the project/team delivers in accordance with the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) defined for the chosen delivery method
    • Actively contribute in the creation or improvements in project management methods, tools and guidelines and be able to perform project reviews or audits
    • Plan and manage activities related to Change Management, communication, organizational changes, competence, and training requirements
    • Advise and lead others by offering deep expertise in the Project Management area and collaborate across disciplines with experts in other areas
    • Acts as a mentor and servant leader to colleagues and shares experiences. Is recognized as a role model within the organization and has taken a clear leading position in internal development and growth of culture

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Demonstrable record of project management
    • Demonstrable Workshop facilitation and event coordination skills, with the focus on change management.
    • Demonstrable problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, developed in a multi-cultural and global company.

    EDUCATION/TRAINING:

    • Bachelors Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or Business Project Management

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:

    • Prior experience within Automotive, Captive Finance organizations or operations.
    • Knowledge of Customer Experience programs
    • Continual Improvement methods including Process development, LEAN and six sigma

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    • Occasional International and local travel
