Find out if this opportunity is a good fit by reading all of the information that follows below.- $190,000.00The Enterprise Architect for Cloud and Infrastructure is a key role in shaping cloud strategy and guiding technology infrastructure framework.

This role involves designing and building high-performance, resilient cloud architectures, ensuring the effective deployment of enterprise applications and adherence to cloud governance standards.

The focus is on designing scalable, robust, and efficient systems that meet current needs but also anticipate future technological trends.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership.
This position can be worked remotely in the United States.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSDevelop and implement a comprehensive cloud and infrastructure strategy that supports the organization's goals and digital transformation initiatives.

Establish and communicate cloud governance standards across the business, aligning with company objectives.

Create solutions that integrate various aspects of cloud and infrastructure technologies, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs.

Evaluate and integrate disparate systems and technologies to create a cohesive and optimized IT environment.
Analyze and identify opportunities to optimize technology spending, focusing on cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality or performance.
Ensure all cloud and infrastructure solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards, and assess risks associated with technology choices.
Collaborate with various departments to understand their technological needs and provide solutions that meet these requirements.
Driving architectural decisions for the Infrastructure Technology Portfolio, having a direct financial correlation to company results and performance. Directly manage a team of Solution Architects, providing leadership, mentorship, and career development.

Indirectly influence and create an impact on broader cross-functional teams by setting architectural standards, driving best practices, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Work closely with various teams to design, implement, and maintain all cloud technologies, ensuring alignment with business needs and technological trends.

Investigate operational requirements, seek effective business solutions, and advise stakeholders on the potential risks and challenges of suggested IT strategies.

Indirectly influence and create an impact on broader cross-functional teams by setting architectural standards, driving best practices, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Support the implementation of projects from inception to post-release, ensuring compliance with governance standards and business objectives.
Evaluate and select appropriate vendors and technologies, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud and infrastructure architectures, standards, promoting best practices throughout the organization and providing training as necessary.

Maintain a working knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into the enterprise architecture where beneficial.
All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCERequired:
12+ years of proven industry experience, with 7+ years in the enterprise/solution architecture roles, focusing on cloud and infrastructure.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering (equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree)

Extensive knowledge and experience with cloud platforms, particularly GCP and AzureProficiency in Linux and Windows systemsExpertise in application monitoring and performance toolsFluency in container technologies like Docker and KubernetesProficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform)Deep understanding of web standards (HTTP, JSON, RESTful APIs)Competence in source code management tools, especially GitAdvanced in Continuous Integration and Delivery toolsFamiliarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL, Oracle) as well as NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)Knowledge of network concepts (e.g., DNS), shell scripting (Powershell or Bash), and a high-level scripting language (Python, Ruby, PHP).

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts in business terms for functional internal partnersAbility to influence key stakeholders and drive meaningful change and innovation for successful value deliveryExcellent ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with business partners at all levels (including executive leadership) to elicit business needs and formulate solutionsAbility to define problems, collect information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and effectively resolve issues independentlyDemonstrated resilience and resourcefulness when faced with challenges in business facetsDesired:
