Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid/2 day/week onsite)

Duration: 12 month contract

One of the largest tech companies in the Bay Area is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team. This person will help develop and enhance their current database in supply chain that supports internal and external inventory for their on-line and in-person stores. The position will include the following:

Help teams build highly observable and resilient systems

Collaborate with developers to capture requirements and understand pain points in the development process

Build reusable dashboards, tools, and libraries

Generate designs and documentations to present to key stakeholders

Organize project deliverables and track reporting using Agile Methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

Participate in on-call rotations to help support operations in different time zones

Conduct root cause analysis of production issues

Develop reusable tooling and processes to help improve customer experience and operational costs

Involved in driving product roadmap, sprint planning, stand-up scrum meetings

Must-haves

5+ years of DevOps and Development Experience building tools/dashboards in a fullstack capacity

Bachelors Degree, Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Required tools; Python/Go/Java/Bash, AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible/Chef/Puppet, GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, networking concepts (HTTP/HTTPS/Firewall/VPn, ect..), Splunk
