    SUMMARY:


    The Industrial Manufacturing Systems Engineer is a leader in identifying, evaluating, and improving processes, providing and supporting floor technology solutions, and elevating the facility towards new and or improved manufacturing processes.

    Responsibilities


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Works directly with Manufacturing Engineer Manager
    • Leadership in Safety and Environmental initiatives for improving processes towards Team Member and Community Health
    • Develop, integrate, and maintain continuous improvement processes to provide support for inventory control, manufacturing information, manufacturing waste, and team member efficiencies.
    • Develop and Support manufacturing information systems with applications such as "Smart Factory" software or Power BI for financial cost, machine, and inventory data.
    • Manufacturing Data analytics for control, monitoring, and reporting to improve efficiency and eliminate wastefulness.
    • Support Manufacturing & Quality teams in initiatives and root cause analysis.
    • Support Manufacturing Document Control initiatives.
    • Evaluates and helps support facility design or layout towards new or improved manufacturing processes.
    Qualifications



    REQUIREMENTS:


    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • 3 years of related experience preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects and processes on time.
    • Initiative-taking attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment.
    • Computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software.
    PHYSICAL

    REQUIREMENTS:


    • Standing for extended periods of time, walking throughout the facility.
    • Some desk work and working with a computer.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Exposed to elements, such as cold, heat, noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.

    • Work time is spent on the manufacturing floor and in a managerial office.
