Associates at Ahold Delhaize USA provide support across various services including Finance, Legal, Sustainability, Commercial, Digital, E-commerce, Technology, and more.

Responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, ice machines, and refrigeration systems in assigned stores. This role involves completing work orders, entering data in the maintenance system, and responding to after-hours calls. Individuals in this position are responsible for minimizing equipment failures, refrigerant loss, and optimizing energy efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, lighting, and hardware
Plan and execute work assignments efficiently
Inspect and evaluate store areas for improvements
Recommend repairs and upgrades to store managers
Ensure safety guidelines are followed
Coordinate preventive maintenance tasks
Communicate building operation status
Update control set-points and troubleshoot controls
Analyze mechanical operation of units
Assist in timely repairs of electrical components
Accountable for store spend on repairs and maintenance
Respond to work orders and emergency calls

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
EPA Certification (Universal)
State Licensure as needed
3+ years of relevant experience
Ability to work independently
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability to climb ladders and lift heavy objects
Availability for after-hours emergency calls
Excellent computer and communication skills
Willingness to travel within the assigned region
