    Job Description:


    ÞProvide PM's and Repairs to Powered Vehicle Fleet including Hyster Forklifts (electric and propane), Man Lifts, Electric Scooters, Diesel Yard Tractor, Electric Floor Scrubbers.

    ÞMaintain maintenance schedule and service records for entire fleet.


    Major Job responsibilities:
    ÞMaintain 100 % operational fleet.

    ÞPerform preventative maintenance tasks on fleet vehicles as required by equipment manufacturers or as developed by Trane.

    ÞPerform repairs as required on all fleet vehicles.

    ÞDevelop and maintain routine scheduled maintenance activities for fleet. This includes tire changes, oil changes, lubrication etc.

    ÞMaintain service records for all vehicles.

    ÞMaintain lease documents for all leased vehicles.

    ÞWork with Maintenance to stock required spare parts for fleet.

    ÞMaintain all required tools in good working order. (Tools supplied by Trane)

    ÞSupport Shipping and Receiving teams by resolving vehicle issues as required.


    Key competencies:
    Þ3-5 years prior heavy equipment maintenance experience required including forklift maintenance.

    ÞStrong hydraulic and pneumatic experience.

    ÞStrong internal combustion engine experience (gas, diesel, propane)

    ÞExperience with large 48 V battery systems and charging equipment.

    ÞExperience with all tools required to maintain fleet including tire presses, hand tools, jacks, etc.

    ÞForklift mechanic certification a plus.

    ÞWelding/Fabrication a plus.

    ÞKnowledge of OSHA safety standards relating to forklift operation and maintenance.

    ÞSelf motivated with the ability to work with limited direction.

    ÞGood skills in the following competencies: Leadership, Team Player, Planning & Organizing, Judgement/Decision Making, Communication, Project Management


    Education/Experience:
    ÞHigh School Diploma or GED Required

    Þ3-5 yrs. Heavy equipment maintenance experience in an Industrial setting.
