    Description


    Insight Global's Pharmaceutical client is expanding their Global Commercial Data Science organization and is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team.

    The Data Scientiest will work through high profile Real World Data projects, synthesizing patient data sets, providing analysis, and building predictive models.

    Potential use cases will be building models to track a rare disease area and see how market share of an existing product may change over time, or how a competitors new product launch may disrupt the future performance of our clients' products.

    Required Skills & Experience

    5+ years in Data Sciences

    Deep experience in analyzing Real World Data (RWD) sources such as EHRs, claims, registries, and syndicated data sets from CROs (IQVIA)

    Technical knowledge of R, SQL, and Python

    Deep Patient Data experience coming from Pharma, Payers, or providers with expertise in areas like Real World Evidence, Patient Journeys/Analytics, Medical/Scientific Affairs

    Business Stakeholder management skills

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Master's degree

    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    PhD

    Expert Excel, SAS, R, Python, SQL and other hands on Coding Skills

    Cross-Therapeutic area experience

    Global Experience

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
